    Join Northern New Mexico Human Resource Association

    It’s tough in these days of complex workplace issues and rapid social change to maintain top performance as a professional Human Resource Manager. You need all the expert help you can get. You need NNMHRA, an Affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) on the local level to give you access to a wealth of programs that can broaden your skills and make you more valuable to your organization.

    As a member of NNMHRA, the local chapter of SHRM, you will be part of the largest professional organization in the world dedicated exclusively to the advancement of Human Resource Management. As a professional yourself, shouldn’t you be a member of the leading professional organization in the field?

    Membership Categories

    Regular members are individuals who actively practice and have three (3) years of experience in human resource management. This includes faculty members in an accredited college or university and HR consultants.

    Associate members are individuals with less than three (3) years experience in human resource management, persons who spend less than 50% of their time engaged in human resource activities or individuals with a demonstrated bona fide interest in human resource management.

    Corporate memberships allow companies with several members to take advantage of a special membership rate. A company may name up to five (5) members and these memberships are transferable.

    Note: National membership in SHRM is encouraged, but is not required, for joining NNMHRA. SHRM members do enjoy a reduced rate on NNMHRA dues. We encourage you to become a member of both!

    2016 Membership Rates

    • $45 for current SHRM members
    • $60 if you are not a SHRM member
    • $175 for a Corporate membership

    Please click here to submit our online application.

    If you would like to renew your membership or join our chapter, please complete our online application form. Either click on the link above under "How to Join", or look for the blue box to the right and click on Become A Local Member.  Complete the online application form and submit it.

    You will receive a confirmation email, and you will then be given information about how to pay and you will have the opportunity to pay via PayPal.

    If you prefer, you may complete your Membership Application using this form.

    Once your membership and payment status have been verified, you will receive an additional email with instructions for how to log into your account and gain access to the Members Only sections of the website.

    Corporate Members: You may register up to 5 employees with your membership.  You must register each member separately. One member should upload a document naming those covered by the Corporate Membership.  The memberships are transferable, however you must notify NNMHRA if you wish to make a change so that we can expire a membership if necessary and update our record. You will then be able to add a new employee from your organization.

     

    Want to Access our NNMHRA Member Resources?

    You must be a member in good standing to access the portion of our website reserved for our members. These resources include legislative updates, our current Membership Directory, and more.

     

    Everyone has access to most areas of the website, but to access our Member Resources, you will need to be a member. If you did not complete an online membership application and have not yet received an email telling you how to log in, you need to create an account.

     

    If you are renewing your membership or becoming a first time member online, you are creating this account! Once your membership status has been verified (payment must be verified), you will receive an email that explains how to login so that you can access those special Member Resources.  Legislative Updates, special resources, and access to our member directory will only be available for our members. If you do not need to access those areas, you will not need to login when you go to the website.

     

    You will sign up on this page of the website.  Find the box to the right that says Join Now! and click on Become a local member. You will need to enter all required (*) information.  Click on Create New Account. You will receive a confirmation email. Once your membership status has been confirmed, you will be given access and you will receive a second email which details how you will sign in to your account.
