    A Trauma Informed Workplace

    Presented by

    Kristin Carmichael

This event has been Pre-Approved for SHRM PDCs and HRCI Credit Hours

    Presentation Summary:

New Mexico has one of the largest trauma loads of any state in America, and it is not just our clients and patients who come to us having had these profound experience, but also our staffs. Is this something employers can ignore? What would it mean for workplaces to acknowledge, prepare for and strategically address trauma in their workforce? In this session, participants will come to understand what trauma is, how workplaces can become trauma informed and strategies to encourage employees down the path to resilience instead of burnout.
