HRCI and SHRM both have detailed guides published each year to help certified HR practitioners understand and navigate the somewhat complicated requirements for re-certifying. Careful care should be taken to make sure you understand what sort of documentation should be retained as “audit documentation,” even for pre-approved credits with an activity ID number. I encourage everyone to retain and submit as much evidence for attending programs as practicable, for example, a payment receipt, registration confirmation email, seminar agendas, etc. Feel free to email us at with any questions you have.

Don’t be afraid to think outside the box for credits! While we’re happy to help you meet your recertification needs with our educational programing SHRM and HRCI both allow for other activities to meet your credit needs, such as reading pre-approved books and literature, viewing webinars, giving presentations, and other professional development activities.
